Crystal Valley traces its beginnings to 1998 when John Sherk experienced a clear prompting from God to begin a house church in his hometown of Middlebury, Indiana. Once it quickly outgrew itself, CVMC transferred its services to Orchard View Elementary, and soon after, to Hoosier Tai Kwan Do Academy. After outgrowing that space, in September of 2001, the church moved to its current building on U.S. 20, partnering with the Boys and Girls Club. Yet, regardless of its several early locations, Crystal Valley has always existed within the city limits of Middlebury and has always been known as a Middlebury church who serves its community.

Crystal Valley has changed over the last 20+ years, but one thing remains the same: Discipleship. We are a church that is committed to creating disciples who make disciples. But our story is far from over. Come join our story and be a part of the rich history of Crystal Valley!
